In my opinion, by participating in this web blog, it helped me loads to reflect on what I had learnt during lectures and tutorials time. It was because; it had helped me out in understanding the plays, dramas better and polished my skills in writing. This web blog had lots of benefits for us as students such as we were able to share the knowledge together, learnt from others’ point of view of something, improve our writing and thinking skills and so on. By reading others’ opinions and thoughts of plays and so on I knew the plays better and able to share my views with them by giving comments to theirs thoughts. On the other hand, by participating in this web blog, I think it had helped me loads in developing my cognitive skills and strategies in my learning process. It was because, when we able to gave the comments to our friends’ opinions and topics, it really helped me to look on others’ perspective and opinions of the plays and the terms of drama with different view and it has open up my mind in judging others’ and sharing our thoughts together. On next week, all of us will be going to KL PAC to watch a play. It seems almost 3 months we had looking for a play to have the experience about it. I really hope that, when we are there, we will have a true view about how the theatre looks like, how about the casts there, the motions on the sages and so on. Perhaps, it will be a meaningful watching trip to us as we are studying drama on this semester. Furthermore, it for this web blog, it had required me to think critically about all aspects of life regarding the issues in the plays. I had also developed my own perspective by creating and exploring my own beliefs when I looked on something in my life. Besides, this web blog was a good way of developing students’ skills and sharing knowledge in learning literature. As for me, this web blog was essential for us as students in gaining the knowledge and sharing the experiences in our learning process.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely. There are plenty of advantages if you blog about what you had learned in class. But F.Y.I (For Your Information), there are also disadvantages about blogging. Anyway, it depend on how you perceive it of course. I am totally agree with most of your opinions. I guess we share a lot in common. Blogging really help me to distress myself sometimes because we can simply voice out our opinion without being afraid that someone will laugh at you. Somemore, we tend to keep what we had in our mind because sometimes we dont like to talk about it. I feel different about blogging. I am more free to write what is going on in mind so I felt relieved everytime I blogged about it. One thing about blogging that I hate the most is when anybody tell lies or talk bad about others in their blog. It is unfair to let others feeling defenseless so I hope you are not one of them. "Stick and stone, may break bones, but a poison pen, is the best revenge".Maybe we can keep a little secret to ourselves....sometimes...
i'm kind of eccentic person but when it comes to share our daily routine and opinions for the public reading, i'm totally not interested. At first,i think blogging is funny: i never have an idea how a grown-up adult is willing to share their dirty little secrets with other which i think should be kept within yourself. Besides that, i never trust blog and the bloggers. I must say that i love to read other's writing, but lots of bloggers in Malaysia love to write craps things such as the death of their Siamese cats, their boyfriend/ grilfriend is flirting with another people or compilation or vulgar jokes which i think only retard person will laugh
ReplyDeletehowever, doing blog for this EDU 3217 has changed my mind. To make a good and worth-reading blog, the moderator must select or write a post which not only entertain the reader but will give the knowledge to the reader. Besides that, the good blog will enable the reader to share their idea, opinion and knowledge with the moderators or the other readers. I got all those things above when i was blogging for this course. Well done and congratulations to all who are participating on this EDU 3217'S blog community
